Hey! This week’s episode is brought to you by The Pixies! Their songs were melodic and vicious, well structured and violent; they exuded emotional exuberance. I wish I had more time to choose other bands that convey a similar passion, but I feel most bands strive to achieve the type of raw expression within the boundaries of song as the Pixies were able to capture repeatedly. I went back through the file folders digging up some songs that struck me at first listen but whom I never explored further- mixed in with some new stuff and some old.
